TestimonialsAbout me
Hi, Iโm Supreet Sidhu ๐!I am the proud Founder of Punjabi Era, a social impact venture that celebrates and preserves Punjabi culture with modern, innovative approaches. My journey began in Mumbai, and at the age of 13, I relocated to New York City, which became a pivotal moment in my life. Leaving behind my Punjabi roots initially created a cultural disconnect, but this inspired me to embark on a lifelong journey of rediscovery and preservation. As a mother, photographer ๐ธ, and entrepreneur, Iโm dedicated to bridging the gap between generations with initiatives like The Gurmukhi Box. The joy I see when children write in Gurmukhi for the first time motivates me to keep building meaningful connections within the global Punjabi diaspora. My work is also inspired by my travels to cultures deeply ingrained with heritage, such as in Surrey, BC.When Iโm not working to celebrate the Punjabi language or capturing life's beautiful moments through photography, you might find me exploring the vibrant streets of New York City with my family. Life and learning are my ultimate inspirations! ๐ธ
